You can play an important role in helping to conserve the cloud forests...
Help educate and generate support for cloud forest conservation! Encourage your friends, family, and others to learn more about the local and global impact cloud forests have on the natural environment, climate, and economy; share the fun details with them. Tell them about this web site. Give presentations at schools and civic clubs. Let politicians know that you support cloud forest conservation!
Contribute to the Cloud Forest Alive Project to help us continue to increase global awareness of these incredible ecosystems.
Pay attention to the products you consume. Make sure you are not contributing to cloud forest destruction by purchasing products that harm the forest.
Volunteer your time. Participate in a field expedition that needs volunteers, such as those sponsored by the Worldwatch Institute, or contact conservation organizations to learn how you can help from your home or school.
Sign up for the Cloud Forest Alive Newsletter so that we can let you know about future opportunities.

Most importantly, continue to learn and help others learn about the significant beneficial impact cloud forests have on the climate, water supply, ecology, and economy at both the local and global level.

This website was developed to enhance global understanding of the unique and important cloud forests of Central America. Through their impact on water and soil quality, climate patterns, and numerous known and unknown plant and animal species, cloud forests profoundly affect life surrounding them and life around the planet. Current financing and management provided by the Tropical Science Center and Forum One Communications. Past support from the World Bank and the Central American Commission for Environment and Development (CCAD). Contact Wagner Lopez info@cloudforestalive.org with comments or questions.
